Dear lovely you,

ree

There’s something no one tells you about this season of life.

About the strange ache that comes with having done the things—the marriage, the motherhood, the career, the caregiving—and still lying awake some nights wondering, “Now what?”

You’ve held it all together.

You’ve been the glue, the planner, the steady one.

And somewhere in all that giving…

You forgot how to ask yourself what you want.

What you need.

Who you are now.

That’s not failure.

That’s life.

That’s the quiet, radical invitation of midlife.

And it doesn’t ask you to fake it till you make it.

It asks you to face it—

Face the grief of who you used to be,

the excitement (and fear) of who you’re becoming,

and the beauty of no longer needing permission.

They say go with the flow, but we’ve lived enough to know:

The flow is ours to co-create.

We grow with it now.

We soften and stretch.

We build new dreams and let old stories go.

We get brave enough to stop chasing who we were—and start becoming who we truly are.

And maybe, for the first time, we stop searching for the right person and realize…

We are her.

That’s the magic I’ve been honoured to witness again and again on these retreats.

Women arrive carrying things they don’t even realize—years of holding it all together, unshed tears, unlived dreams. And within days, there’s laughter, movement, stillness, story.

We remember ourselves.

We meet each other in the real.

And we leave changed—not because the destination was beautiful (though it always is)—but because we finally gave ourselves permission to come home to ourselves.

So if something inside you is stirring…

If you’re feeling the nudge to reclaim your joy, your voice, your next chapter—

Know this:

You are not alone.

You are not late.

You are right on time.

And you are so very welcome in this community of women rewriting what midlife can look and feel like.

I’ll be right there with you—leading, witnessing, cheering you on.

With all my heart,

Penny
